We recently discovered a UK based company that creates what they call the "Trend Bible". TheTrend Bible forecast future trends and predict consumer behavior to help retailers and brands build commercially successful product ranges. Throughout the years and seasons, they release a new catalog for purchase, showcasing what they expect the next big trends to be. In the 2012/2013 Autumn/Winter catalog, Pom Pom At Home's very own Mathilde in grey was featured in the first chapter titled "Undone". This section focuses on materials that express a casual, comforting mood with a "natural, unselfconscious style". It's very fitting for Pom Pom to be included in such a collection, as we consistently strive to create exactly that feeling.
I've also gathered a few images of other portions of the Trend Bible that I found rather interesting. Playful illustrations on teacups, fabric samples within the book, rustic accessories, knitted coffee holders, and colorful collages of drawing and patterns were only a few of the images that caught my eye. It's amazing to me that these inspirations could turn into new product in many many retail stores and from designers and we at Pom Pom At Home are happy to be a part of the trend setting community.
